Mk I 2.4 & 3.4: 1955 – 1959

The Jaguar Mk I, produced from 1955 to 1959, was the company’s first compact luxury saloon, blending sports car performance with refined styling and comfort. Offered with either a 2.4L or 3.4L straight-six engine, the Mk I delivered smooth, confident power in a well-balanced chassis, paving the way for Jaguar’s dominance in the luxury sports saloon market. Hubs & Spinners

Early vehicles were fitted with drum brakes originally; the car would need to be converted to disc brakes to fit ACWW splined hubs. Disc brakes became an option in 1957, by 1959 all vehicles were fitted with disc brakes (all round).
