Sunbeam Tiger Mk I and Mk II: 1964 - 1968

The Sunbeam Tiger Mk I and Mk II, produced between 1964 and 1968, took the classic British roadster formula and injected it with American muscle, creating a powerful and charismatic sports car.Built on the Sunbeam Alpine’s chassis but fitted with a potent V8 engine—4260cc in the Mk I and an upgraded 4727cc in the Mk II—the Tiger delivered thrilling performance while maintaining the Alpine’s elegant styling. This combination of lightweight handling and brute force made the Tiger a formidable competitor on the road and track, cementing its legacy as a true Anglo-American performance icon.
