The chrome wheels have been tubeless since March 2006; and the stainless steel wheels have been tubeless since July 2008.

If you have the older, tubed wheels or are fitting tube-type tyres you will need 195/205 x 15 tubes and we recommend 15/16″ rim bands.

Notes

The original standard wheel was a chrome rostyle with the wire wheel being offered as a “factory option”.

Wheels which are larger than the standard size might not fit into the spare wheel compartment.

Notes

Body modifications are necessary to fit these wheels. Wheels which are larger than the standard size might not fit into the spare wheel compartment.

This wheel gets very close to the rear arches and has been known to touch when any weight is applied to the rear of the vehicle. We would recommend a fitment check and modifications to the body work may be necessary. Wheels which are larger than the standard size might not fit into the spare wheel compartment.

Warranty

Stainless Steel and Chrome: three year structural and two year cosmetic

The warranty period commences from the date of invoice and is subject to the wheels being maintained as per our Wheel Care advice and in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions. Please retain the warranty tag supplied with each wheel as it contains the information required to identify the wheel in the event of a claim.

Please note: ACWW warranty automatically becomes void if the wheels have been: subject to re-work or change; fitted with tyres other than the manufacturer’s recommended fitment; or used for track events.

Note

We recommend using our 52mm wooden spinner saver to protect the knock-on caps (spinners) when using a copper and hide hammer.

XW5784 & XW5721 : Due to the positioning of the centre in relation to the rim you will require a deep wooden spinner saver.

Click here for advice on how tight to apply spinners.

Federal style spinner

Extra Information

Other comments

We have heard the BXW715 has been fitted but ACWW do not recommend this fitment and would advise against it.

Always check the history of the vehicle to ensure that there have been no modifications to the running gear.

Hubs/splines, spinners and nuts remain the same, unless noted otherwise, regardless of which wheel is fitted.

We also stock wire wheel maintenance accessories such as our Cleaning Kit (Refills available) and Cleaning Brush.
